I reflect back sometimes and I'm so glad I'm HERE. In a good place where I simply KNOW myself. 8 years ago I never imagined I'd be here.

Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy. That goes for ANYTHING!

• You're allowed to walk away from the friend who chooses to dim your light instead of making you shine brighter.

- I did. I still think about that friend from time to time but I knew immediately that this was the right decision. I didn't need anyone around me who was critical or negative. I needed supportive and uplifting friends. My life felt calmer, happier and more alive without them. It no longer served me.

• You're allowed to close a chapter in your life without feeling guilty.

- I did. I walked away and decided to choose ME. You're allowed to put yourself first. This took courage, courage that I didn't even know I had....or needed. It still is one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself.

• You're allowed to forgive yourself for your mistakes....big and small. (I struggle with this).

• You're allowed to walk away from toxic friendships/relationships.

• You’re allowed to set yourself free from your own expectations.

Remember that each ending makes room for a new beginning. Don't let fear of the outcome leave you stagnant and miserable. It is so important to not only love yourself.....but respect yourself.

You're allowed to change, evolve and most importantly....to GROW.

Choose YOU.
