While We Wait....

2020 – It's been one helluva year, right? Wow. As difficult as this year has been, it's gone by so quickly. Hard to believe it's already November.

Anywhos, I wanted to check in. I've been MIA in more ways than one and unfortunately have neglected my blog. The stress of this year is enough to drive anyone crazy. Dealing with the pandemic, racial injustices and the most contentious election to date is STRESSFUL. Not to mention most of us have rescheduled so many important events this year like weddings, celebrations, vacations, etc. We all just need a break!

How are you? How are you coping with this year? Personally, I have my days. Some are good, productive and "normal." But I'll be the first to admit that other days....... I'm just over it. Everything. I'm irritable and mentally exhausted. Hearing the death toll, seeing people you know and care about suffering, listening to the news, seeing people argue online...... must I go on?

Thankful.

In all this craziness, I have to state just how thankful I am. My family & friends are doing well and that's about all you can ask for these days.

I encourage all of you to check on your people and take care of yourself during these trying times. No matter what that may mean. If it's pouring an extra glass of wine, turning off the tv or your phone....whatever!

I sincerely hope you're well —physically, mentally, emotionally. I hope you're safe and healthy. I hope you know that you can get through the tough days. Because there WILL be tough days. I hope you're surrounded by love and light and people who support you unconditionally. I hope you're learning and growing despite the many obstacles you face.

And lastly, I hope you're wearing your masks and VOTING on Nov. 3!
